FAQ

What Is An Electronic Cigarette?

An electronic cigarette is an alternative way to smoke. It's an electrical device that imitates a traditional cigarette. They are recommended for people who want to save money, improve their health, or as a smoking cessation product.

How Does It work?

When the button on the battery is pushed it activates an atomiser, which heats up the e-liquid in the cartridge. The atomiser is responsible for producing a vapour that is then inhaled.

How Is It Powered?

E-cigarettes are powered by a rechargeable lithium battery. At Liquid eCig UK, we sell these batteries, as well as everything you would need to charge them.

How Long Do Batteries Take To Charge?

For the initial charge it is recommended to charge for at least three hours, after that the battery should charge fully within 1-2 hours. This can vary between models, and will usually say on the description.

How Long Do Atomisers And Batteries Last?

We recommend you change atomisers/clearomisers every 7 days. Atomisers can last anywhere between seven and 90 days. Batteries can last anywhere between 30 and 120 days.

Do I Need To Change The Cartridges?

The cartridges can be used again and again by topping up with e-liquid, although we recommend that you change your cartridge at least once a week.

Do Electronic Cigarettes Save You Money?

Yes, without a doubt! Using an electronic cigarette can save you up to 80% of the cost of smoking traditional cigarettes.

Where Can I Use My Electronic Cigarette?

As the laws begin to change, you will find that there are a few limitations being imposed on the smoking of e-cigarettes in public places. Although one of their many benefits is that they are legal for use indoors, some establishments have decided that the vapour looks too real to allow in their place of business, so if in doubt just ask.
